We work with you, your family and/or the person you care about to manage the costs of treatment in a way that is fair and ensures treatment is equitable and accessible.

Accredited

Tamarack has achieved Exemplary Standing with Accreditation Canada so you can be assured that our services meet the highest standards of professionalism, quality and safety.

A Residential Setting

Delivered in a residential setting that models a healthy family-like atmosphere – It’s comfortable, caring and safe, but it’s not a resort – our participants work hard at their recovery and take responsibility for many household tasks while in the program, developing important life skills that give them a better chance at long-term recovery.

Live-In

This allows participants to focus fully on the work that is needed to overcome addictions, heal and build the skills that will support a lifetime in recovery. It’s common to have concerns and questions about managing employment or family commitments while in treatment. Please don’t let this stop your loved one from seeking help. We can work with them to address many of these issues.

How we can help YOU.

It can be difficult to encourage someone with a drug or alcohol problem to seek help and make a change. We understand.

Our years of experience providing recovery services have shown us that the best recovery results come to those who want to change and are well prepared to take on the challenges they will inevitably face on their journey to a healthier way of life. That’s why we don’t provide intervention-style services.

What we DO provide is the opportunity for you and/or your loved one to meet with one of our counsellors to discuss your situation in confidence, without judgement or any pressure to participate in our program. This free, confidential meeting helps us to point you and the person you care about in the direction of services that can help now and as they progress on their recovery journey.

Get in touch. We offer a number of contact options to suit you.

Look after yourself too. There are a number of local self-help groups for friends and family-members who are affected by someone’s addictive behaviours. You can find out about these services on our FAQs and Resources section. Our social media and blog posts can also be a source of ongoing support and information for you or someone you care about.
